Tyreek Hill's cryptic message has Steelers written all over it
Tyreek Hill's NFL return is imminent, and the former All-Pro wide receiver dropped a bombshell hint that may have the Pittsburgh Steelers tabbed as a landing spot.
After teasing his return from injury on social media, Hill posted another cryptic message a few days later, this time hinting about which teams he could play for. And the Steelers check that box in more ways than one.
"I think I'm ready for some cold weather," Hill wrote via X.

While there are other cold-weather teams besides the Steelers, like the Baltimore Ravens, Buffalo Bills, Cleveland Browns, Green Bay Packers, Kansas City Chiefs, and Minnesota Vikings, to name a few, Pittsburgh would be an ideal landing spot. After all, Hill did tease the Steelers as a potential team he'd play for back in January 2025.
The Steelers' wide receiver room has been dealing with some issues early in the season, as DK Metcalf still hasn't lived up to his $132 million price tag, Michael Pittman Jr. has been battling injuries, and Roman Wilson has shown some consistency issues in communication and dropped passes. Hill, although there's no guarantee he'd be at 100%, would help take Pittsburgh's receiving corps to the next level.
Metcalf, Pittman, and Hill would be a fearsome wide receiver trio at Aaron Rodgers' disposal, one that could push the Steelers into potential Super Bowl contention status in 2026.
