Tickets on sale for MSU-Arkansas game in Detroit on Thanksgiving Day

DETROIT — Tickets for Michigan State men's basketball game against Arkansas at Little Caesars on Thanksgiving go on sale Thursday, Oct. 1, at 10 a.m.
The teams will play Thursday, Nov. 26, as the back half of a downtown Detroit doubleheader.
The Lions play their annual Thanksgiving Day game at 1 p.m. against the Chicago Bears at Ford Field, and then Michigan State and Arkansas will tip off at 4:30 p.m. Both games will be broadcast by CBS.
“I love any time we get a chance to play in Detroit and at Little Caesars Arena,” Michigan State head coach Tom Izzo said when the game was officially announced this summer. “When you have a chance to play a game that will be a memory-maker for your players and your program, you take advantage of that opportunity."
Tickets can be purchased at DetroitHoops.com/tickets. The game is part of the CareSource Invitational series, which raises money for suicide prevention adolescent mental health. The games have raised more than $250,000 since launching in 2023.
The Thanksgiving Day game will be the fourth meeting between Michigan State and Arkansas, now coached by John Calipari. Michigan State has won the first three, including a 69-66 win Nov. 8, 2025, at Breslin Center in East Lansing. Both teams made the Sweet 16 last season.
Michigan also will play a marquee game at LCA this season, against Louisville on Saturday, Dec. 5. Ticket information for that game hasn't yet been announced.
The MSU and UM games at LCA will serve as a teaser for the 2027 Final Four, which will be played at Ford Field.
