Eagles' rivals and former QB set for Netflix’s Quarterback Season 3
The Philadelphia Eagles' offseason has become almost as entertaining as the regular season itself. Between social media, documentaries, and streaming series, fans now have unprecedented access to some of the league's biggest stars. That trend will continue when Netflix releases the third season of its popular Quarterback series.
Several recognizable names will be featured this time around. That includes three quarterbacks Eagles fans know all too well.
Washington Commanders star Jayden Daniels and Tampa Bay Buccaneers signal-caller Baker Mayfield headline the upcoming season alongside Tennessee Titans rookie Cam Ward and veteran Joe Flacco. In 2021, Flacco, a Voorhees Township, New Jersey native, spent time as part of the Eagles roster. Philadelphia traded him back in October for a conditional sixth-round draft pick, after then-Jets starting quarterback Zach Wilson suffered a knee injury.

Familiar Eagles rivals take center stage on the popular Netflix series
Daniels has quickly become one of the NFL's most intriguing young quarterbacks. The Commanders' star split his first two regular-season meetings with Philadelphia. He has also fallen to them on the postseason stage. As Washington continues its pursuit of NFC East supremacy, Daniels has become one of the biggest threats standing between Philadelphia and another division title. Then there's Baker Mayfield.
The veteran quarterback has spent years frustrating defenses with his competitiveness and ability to extend plays. Over his career, Mayfield owns a 2-2 record against Philadelphia and has consistently provided entertaining battles whenever he has faced the Eagles. Both quarterbacks should provide plenty of compelling content for the series.
Flacco's inclusion adds another Eagles connection. Although he never appeared in a regular-season game for Philadelphia, he remains a recognizable figure to many fans because of his origin, lengthy NFL career, and Super Bowl pedigree.
With Daniels, Mayfield, Ward, and Flacco all featured, the latest installment of Quarterback promises to offer Eagles fans plenty of reasons to tune in. Whether they're rooting for the stars or rooting against division rivals is another discussion entirely.
