Broncos Patrick Surtain, 2024 NFL defensive player of the year, leaves game vs Colts

The 2024 NFL Defensive Player of the Year Patrick Surtain left Sunday's game against the Colts with an apparent left ankle injury. His status is questionable to return.

The injury happened away from the play, with Surtain, a Denver Broncos cornerback, covering Michael Pittman Jr. He appeared to go down with no contact.

Surtain was helped to the medical tent with the help of two members of the Broncos' staff. He has left the tent after approximately 10 minutes and appeared to be testing his leg on the sideline.
