Mets announce lineup vs Milwaukee Brewers for Sunday game

The Mets have already dropped their fourth straight series, but they will be looking to avoid a second straight sweep and a seventh straight loss on Sunday afternoon.

On the heels of a 7-4 defeat to the Brewers on Saturday, which included a four-run seventh inning by the Brewers, the Mets will look to grab one victory against MLB’s best team at 2:10 p.m. at American Family Field.

One of the lone positives to come out of Saturday’s loss was Pete Alonso’s tying the Mets record with his 252nd career home run.

The Brewers, who at 72-44 hold the best record in baseball, have won eight straight games.

Sean Manaea will look to stop the bleeding for the Mets on the mound on Sunday. The veteran lefty is 1-1 with a 3.52 ERA. Last time out, he avoided the loss despite allowing five earned runs on seven hits while striking out three.

Quinn Priester will be on the other side for the Brewers. He has had some of the club’s best success on the mound, posting an 11-2 record with a 3.15 ERA and 1.19 WHIP in 21 appearances (16 starts) this season.

As the Mets and Brewers face off for the final time in the 2025 regular season, here are the lineups for both teams:
