Steelers training camp on Friday cut short by approaching storm
Friday’s training camp was fun while it lasted — until an approaching storm in Latrobe forced the Steelers to leave the practice field early.
After an exciting day of team activity, including an offensive victory in the iconic seven-shots drill, fans were cleared from the bleachers and the Steelers headed to the gym at Saint Vincent College as the sky darkened from the arriving storm.

Before the storm stole headlines at the second practice of training camp, Aaron Rodgers was ready to put Thursday’s interception on the first pass attempt of team drills behind him — and he did exactly that during seven-shots on Friday, leading the offense to a 4-3 win over the defense.
It remains to be seen if the storm will impact Saturday’s or Sunday’s practice, but we at Steelers Wire will keep you updated as more information becomes available.
